Tonewood Amp Brilliant but Installation! OMG

Got the Tonewood strapped it to my guitar to see what it sounded like UTTERLY Brilliant. However! then came the installation. Their installation method is ridiculous and does not work. Sticky pads! Do me a favor! Firstly if you are fitting this to an older guitar you need to clean out the inside of the guitar to remove any dust or something because I didn't (didn't even THINK about it) Consequently trying to fit it resulted in sticky pads being rendered useless and frankly even if you managed to get these Sticky pads to stick, if you swap this Tonewood Amp to another guitar the likelihood of the X-Member remaining 'stuck' to the inside of the guitar is nothing short of a mad and unrealistic fantasy, cause it won't. Now what!? I have a cunning plan to build something that will PROPERLY fix the magnetic X-Member inside the guitar ..... and it WORKS. Thank heavens. Wanna know how .... email me bawb2411@gmail.com In the meantime. Tonewood .... BRILLIANT piece of kit ..... RUBBISH installation system. Sort It! LOL

This is a review more for Musician Madness than Tonewood Amp

The videos MM made on this product was helpful. I haven't used the Tonewood Amp, but from what I have seen so far, this is not an amp, but a special effects preamp. You need to have a pickup for your acoustic guitar to plug the TWA into and the TWA can go between your guitar to a real amp. Very easy to install but be careful, the disc double-side tape on the X mount is very sticky. Once it's sits down, cannot adjust as you see in the installation videos from TWA. I like what the TWA does, so would buy it again. TWA does a huge compaigne of target marketing through YouTube videos to advertise this product and it is pretty impressive. But again, if you need any volume out of your playing, you'll need to connect the TWA into a regular amp.

Great product

The Tonewood is a great product that I use daily. It is a very reliable amp and has many effects to choose from. It adds depth to the tone of my guitar, and it adds new tones to complement my guitar. This website was also true to their word about shipping the same day. Very reliable team and I would definitely purchase again if I were to lose my Tonewood. All in all great product and great service.
